Afternoon flight from Dublin to Catania
Transfer to four-star Royal Palace Hotel Messina (www.royalpalacemessina.it)
Check into hotel, dinner and overnight
DAY 2 - Thursday, 28th May
Camino of St. Hanibal
Mass in the Basilica of St. Anthony of Padua
Visit to the crypt of the basilica and prayer before the remains of St. Hannibal Maria Di Francia
Visit to the museum of St. Hannibal
Afternoon visit to the Church of St. Mary of the Holy Spirit where St. Hannibal was ordained
Visit to the apartment of St. Hannibal (Convent of Daughters of the Divine Zeal)
DAY 3 - Friday, 29th May
Sanctuary of Madonna di Tindari & Our Lady of the Letter
Morning Mass in the Cathedral in Messina and see the icon of Our Lady of the Letter
Mass at the Sanctuary of the Madonna of Tindari, and statue of the Black Madonna
DAY 4 - Saturday, 30th May
Camino of St. Hanibal
Mass at the Sanctuary of the Madonna della Guardia, and where St. Hannibal died on 01 June 1927. See the museum and room where St. Hannibal died, church built by St. Hannibal and grotto to Our Blessed Mother
DAY 5 - Sunday, 31st May
Camino of St. Hanibal
Visit to Taormina and the first House of the Daughters of the Divine Zeal (FDZ) established in by St Hannibal
Evening flight from Catania to Bari
Drive to four-star Hotel Boston, check in and overnight (www.bostonbari.it)
DAY 6 - Monday, 1st June
Feast Day of St. Hannibal Daughter of the Divine Zeal, Oria
Visit to the Sanctuary of St. Anthony of Padua, Oria
Evening Mass celebrated by Bishop of Brindisi Visit Oria Museum & Gardens & Daughters of the Divine Zeal Convent in old city of Oria
DAY 7 - Tuesday, 2nd June
Daughters of the Divine Zeal, Altamura Tomb of Luisa Piccaretta, Corato
Visit to the Convent of the Daughters of the Divine Zeal, Oria
Afternoon Mass in the church next to Tomb of Melania Calvat, Co-Founder of the Daughters of the Divine Zeal whose cause for canonisation commenced on 31.10.2025.
Drive to Corato, visit to the Museum of Luisa Piccarreta and Tomb
Closing Mass of pilgrimage in the Church of Santa Maria Greca
DAY 8 - Wednesday, 3rd June
Return home
After breakfast, drive to Bari airport for return flight to Dublin.
*It is our intention to follow the itinerary as outlined above, however due to many factors like local holidays, traffic or weather conditions it may be necessary to make changes to the order of events or even the cancelation of certain events.
