Pilgrimage Itinerary

Day 1 - 31st October 2025
Begin your journey with an early morning departure from Dublin Airport, flying to Lima via Amsterdam with KLM. Upon arrival at Lima's international airport, you will meet your guide and transfer to Hotel Jose Antonio Lima for a 3-night stay. (Meals: Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 2 - 1st November 2025
After breakfast at the hotel, immerse yourself in Lima's rich history and colonial charm. Explore the Plaza de Armas, Lima Cathedral, and the ornate Archbishop's Palace. Visit the Church of Santo Domingo, home to the remains of St. Martin de Porres and St. Rose of Lima, and marvel at the catacombs of the Monastery of St. Francis. Conclude the day with a visit to the National Museum. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay. (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch)

Day 3 - 2nd November 2025
Today, gain a deeper understanding of the vital work carried out by Irish and local religious missions in Lima. Experience first hand the inspiring projects and initiatives they lead. Afterward, return to the hotel for an overnight stay. Transfers to and from the Convent of Santo Domingo will be accompanied by a guide. (Meals: Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 4 - 3rd November 2025
Enjoy a leisurely morning after breakfast at the hotel. In the evening, transfer to the Convent of Santo Domingo for a special Mass in honour of San Martin de Porres (7 PM). After the service, return to the hotel for an overnight stay. (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch)

Day 5 - 4th November 2025
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for a short flight to Cusco, the ancient Inca capital nestled in the Andes. The afternoon is free for you to relax and acclimate to the altitude. Overnight in Cusco. (Meals: Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 6 - 5th November 2025
Start your day with breakfast at the hotel, then transfer to Poroy Station (approximately 40 minutes) to board the train to Aguas Calientes (approximately 3.5 hours, subject to availability). Upon arrival, take a 30-minute shuttle bus to the iconic Machu Picchu. Explore this breath-taking ancient site with a guided tour. Afterward, return to Aguas Calientes for some free time before taking the train back to Poroy. Transfer back to Cusco for an overnight stay. (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch)

Day 7 - 6th November 2025
After breakfast, transfer to Cusco airport for your return flight to Lima. On arrival, meet your guide and transfer to the hotel. The remainder of the day is yours to relax or explore at your own pace. Overnight in Lima. (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch)

Day 8 - 7th November 2025
Following breakfast, enjoy a day of leisure for last-minute shopping or exploring Lima further. Later, transfer to the airport for your evening flight home. (Meals: Breakfast) for return flight arriving Dublin following day. (Meals: Breakfast)

Day 8 - 8th November 2025
Arrive back at Dublin Airport, bringing an end to your unforgettable journey.
