Proposed Pilgrimage Itinerary *
Monday, September 7th - Arrival in Lourdes
Arrive in France and transfer by private coach to Lourdes, nestled in the foothills of the Pyrenees. After checking into your hotel for a two-night stay on a full-board basis, gather at the Sanctuary for your first Mass of the pilgrimage. In the evening, take part in the beautiful Torchlight Marian Procession, joining pilgrims from around the world in prayer under the stars. Overnight in Lourdes.
Tuesday, September 8th - Lourdes: In the Footsteps of St.Bernadette
Begin your day with Mass at the Grotto of Massabielle, the very spot where the Virgin Mary appeared to Bernadette in 1858. After breakfast, enjoy a guided walking tour visiting the Boly Mill, her birthplace; the Cachot, where her family lived; and the Parish Church, where she was baptised. In the afternoon, participate in the Blessed Sacrament Procession at the Underground Basilica of St. Pius X. After dinner, return once again to the Sanctuary for the evening procession. Overnight in Lourdes.
Wednesday, September 9th - Lourdes to Rocamadour
After breakfast and a final moment of prayer in Lourdes, depart for the medieval village of Rocamadour, dramatically perched above the Alzou River. On arrival, visit the Cathedral of Our Lady, home to the miraculous Black Madonna, and learn the legend of the Miraculous Bell, which is said to ring when sailors in danger at sea are saved. Mass will be celebrated in this sacred shrine, followed by dinner and overnight in Rocamadour.
Thursday, September 10th - Rocamadour to Nevers
Enjoy the morning scenery as you travel north to Nevers, the quiet town where St. Bernadette spent her final years. On arrival at the Convent of St. Gildard, celebrate Mass and venerate her incorrupt body, resting in a glass reliquary. Take time to visit the museum, the infirmary where she passed away, and the peaceful convent gardens. Dinner and overnight in Nevers.
Friday, September 11th - Nevers to Paris
Depart Nevers after breakfast and journey to the vibrant capital of Paris. As you enter the city, enjoy panoramic views of the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, and the elegant Champs-�lys�es. Celebrate Mass at Saint-�tienne-du-Mont, where the relics of St. Genevi�ve, patroness of Paris, are kept. Check into your hotel for two nights. After dinner, there will be an optional Seine River Cruise (€20), offering breathtaking evening views of Paris illuminated under nightfall.
Saturday, September 12th - Paris: Faith and Beauty
Start your day with Mass at Rue du Bac, the Chapel of the Miraculous Medal, where Our Lady appeared to St. Catherine Labour�. Venerate her relics and visit the tomb of St. Vincent de Paul nearby. In the afternoon, visit Montmartre and pray in Sacr�-C�ur Basilica, a sanctuary of perpetual Eucharistic Adoration since 1885. Take part in a panoramic tour of Paris, including stops at Les Invalides, the Louvre, and the Cathedral of Notre-Dame (exterior only). Dinner and overnight in Paris.
Sunday, September 13th - Paris to Lisieux
Depart Paris and travel northwest to Lisieux, the hometown of St. Th�r�se of the Child Jesus. Visit Les Buissonnets, the family home of Th�r�se, and celebrate Mass at the Carmelite Convent, where she lived and is now buried. In the afternoon, visit the Basilica of St. Th�r�se, a stunning monument of love and devotion, where you'll find her relics and beautifully crafted mosaics. Enjoy a farewell dinner this evening in thanksgiving for the grace-filled days of your journey. Overnight in Lisieux.
Monday, September 14th - Return to Dublin
After breakfast, bid farewell to France and transfer to the airport for your return flight to Dublin, carrying home with you the blessings, memories, and prayers offered during your time in these sacred places.
