Proposed Pilgrimage Itinerary *



Day 1: April 29, 2025 - Arrival in Lourdes

Depart from Dublin in the morning and arrive in Lourdes. Upon arrival, you'll meet your pilgrimage guide who will assist with the transfer to your hotel in Lourdes. After check-in and some time to settle, begin with an introductory visit to the Sanctuary, exploring sites such as the Rosary Basilica, the Grotto of Massabielle, and the Baths, where pilgrims can experience the healing waters. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.



Day 2: April 30, 2025 - Pilgrimage Sites in Lourdes

Begin with morning Mass in the Sanctuary. After Mass, a guided tour will take you to important locations in St. Bernadette's life, including the Boly Mill where she was born, and the Cachot, her family's former residence. Return to the hotel for lunch. In the afternoon, you'll have personal time for prayer, private devotion, or visits within the Sanctuary. Join the Blessed Sacrament Procession in the Basilica of St. Pius X at 5 pm. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.



Day 3: May 1, 2025 - Personal Devotion and Guided Tour in Lourdes

Following breakfast and morning Mass, spend the morning in quiet devotion or join a guided visit of the Basilica's various chapels and the peaceful sanctuary grounds. Lunch at the hotel, followed by an afternoon walking tour of Lourdes, where you may visit the Wax Museum for insights into the life of Bernadette and the Lourdes Museum. In the evening, join the Torchlight Procession once again. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.



Day 4: May 2, 2025 - Stations of the Cross and Closing Day in Lourdes

Start with Mass in one of the sanctuary chapels, followed by breakfast. Take a guided Stations of the Cross meditation on Esp�lugues Hill, reflecting on each station along the wooded paths. Return to the hotel for lunch. Enjoy a free afternoon in Lourdes for souvenir shopping or additional private prayer in the sanctuary. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.



Day 5: May 3, 2025 - Transfer from Lourdes to Biarritz

After breakfast and a farewell Mass, depart Lourdes and enjoy a scenic private coach journey to Biarritz, passing through the beautiful Pyrenees region. Upon arrival, check into the Hotel Plaza Biarritz Plage on a bed-and-breakfast basis. Spend the evening unwinding along the coastline, exploring sites like the Biarritz Lighthouse or the waterfront. Overnight in Biarritz.



Day 6: May 4, 2025 - Leisure Day in Biarritz

After breakfast, enjoy a leisurely day exploring Biarritz. You might visit the famous Les Halles Market, wander through the town center for boutique shopping, or take a relaxing stroll along the Grand Plage beach. The afternoon is free for personal sightseeing, with options to visit the Biarritz Aquarium or the historic St. Martin's Church. Overnight at the hotel.



Day 7: May 5, 2025 - Excursion and Exploration in Biarritz

Spend another relaxed day in Biarritz. You might consider a day trip to nearby Bayonne, known for its Basque architecture and chocolate shops, or visit the picturesque Rock of the Virgin for beautiful ocean views. Return to Biarritz in the afternoon for more leisure time and local dining options in the charming town center. Overnight in Biarritz.



Day 8: May 6, 2025 - Departure from Biarritz

On your final morning, take time for last-minute exploration or relaxation. Check out of the hotel and transfer to the airport in the afternoon for your return journey, concluding your memorable pilgrimage and leisure experience.
