Proposed Pilgrimage Itinerary *
Day 1: Saturday, 9th May - Dublin to Paris, Lisieux
Your pilgrimage begins this morning as you gather at Dublin Airport for your flight to Paris. After meeting your Marian Pilgrimages guide and coach, travel northwest to Lisieux, the hometown of St. Th�r�se
of the Child Jesus, the Little Flower. In the afternoon, visit Les Buissonnets, her childhood home, where
the simple furnishings and atmosphere of prayer offer an insight into the saint's family life. Continue to
the Basilica of St. Th�r�se, a monumental place of devotion completed in her honour. Celebrate your
first Mass of the pilgrimage in the peaceful crypt of the Basilica. Dinner and overnight in Lisieux.
Day 2: Sunday, 10th May - Lisieux to Paris
After breakfast, gather for morning Mass before departing Lisieux. Journey by coach to Paris, where
faith and culture meet in the �City of Light.� As you arrive, enjoy panoramic views of the Eiffel Tower,
the Arc de Triomphe, and the Champs-�lys�es, pausing to appreciate the beauty of the French capital.
In the evening, check into your hotel for a two-night stay. After dinner, you may choose to take an optional Seine River Cruise (€20), offering a magical perspective of Paris as the city's bridges and monuments are illuminated at night.
Day 3: Monday, 11th May - Paris
Begin your day with Mass at the Shrine of the Miraculous Medal on Rue du Bac, where Our Lady appeared to St. Catherine Labour� in 1830. The chapel, simple yet radiant with grace, has drawn millions
of pilgrims who wear the Miraculous Medal as a sign of devotion. Nearby, visit the shrine of St. Vincent
de Paul, whose tireless charity and care for the poor shaped the Church's mission in France. In the afternoon, take a guided sightseeing tour of Paris, including the Louvre, Les Invalides, and Montmartre. At
the Basilica of Sacr�-C�ur, situated high above the city, spend time in prayer in this great sanctuary of
perpetual Eucharistic Adoration. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Tuesday, 12th May - Paris to Nevers
This morning depart Paris and travel south to Nevers, a quiet town on the banks of the Loire. Here you
will visit the Convent of St. Gildard, where St. Bernadette lived after leaving Lourdes. In the chapel, you
will venerate her incorrupt body, lying in a glass reliquary, a powerful sign of holiness and simplicity. Explore the museum, which recounts her life, and walk through the gardens where she often prayed.
Mass will be celebrated in the convent chapel. Dinner and overnight in Nevers.
Day 5: Wednesday, 13th May - Nevers to Rocamadour
After breakfast, continue your pilgrimage through the French countryside to Rocamadour, one of
France's most spectacular medieval villages, dramatically clinging to a cliffside above the Alzou River. Since the Middle Ages, Rocamadour has been a renowned place of pilgrimage, particularly for its miraculous statue of the Black Madonna. Visit the Cathedral of Our Lady to venerate this ancient image and
hear the history of the �Miraculous Bell� which is said to ring in times of danger at sea. You will also
visit the churches of St. Blaise and St. Michael, and the tomb of St. Amadour, a hermit linked to the
early Christian community. Mass will be celebrated in the Cathedral. Dinner and overnight in Rocamadour.
Day 6: Thursday, 14th May - Rocamadour to Lourdes
Enjoy breakfast in Rocamadour before departing mid-morning for Lourdes, travelling through the scenic landscape of southwestern France. On arrival in Lourdes, check into your hotel for a two-night stay
on a full-board basis. In the afternoon, celebrate Mass in the Sanctuary, and take your first time to pray
at the Grotto where Our Lady appeared to Bernadette in 1858. In the evening, join pilgrims from across
the world in the moving Rosary and Torchlight Marian Procession at 9pm.
Day 7: Friday, 15th May - Lourdes Walking Tour
This morning begin with Mass, followed by an orientation of the Sanctuary. Your guide will lead you
through Lourdes to the sites associated with St. Bernadette: the Boly Mill, where she was born; the Cachot, the former prison where her family lived in poverty; the Hospice where she made her First Communion; the Parish Church; and the cemetery where members of her family are buried. In the afternoon, take part in the Blessed Sacrament Procession in the Underground Basilica of St. Pius X, joining in
prayer for the sick and for healing. Dinner will be followed by another opportunity to walk in the evening Torchlight Procession, a highlight of the Lourdes experience. Overnight in Lourdes.
Day 8: Saturday, 16th May - Lourdes to Dublin
Spend your final morning in Lourdes at leisure, with time for private prayer at the Grotto, lighting a candle, or visiting the Baths for those who wish. In the afternoon, transfer to Lourdes airport for your return flight to Dublin, bringing this pilgrimage of faith, prayer, and grace to a close.
*It is our intention to follow the itinerary as outlined above, however due to many factors like local holidays, traffic or weather conditions it may be necessary to make changes to the order of events or even the cancelation of certain events.
