Proposed Pilgrimage Itinerary *

Day 1 - Friday, 18 September

Arrival in Fatima - Opening Candlelight Procession Check-in at Dublin Airport for your direct flight to Lisbon. Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by your Marian Pilgrimages guide and transferred by private coach north to Fatima, the little village chosen by Our Lady in 1917 for her message of prayer, penance and conversion. On arrival at your hotel, check in for seven nights with dinner, bed and breakfast. After time to settle and enjoy dinner, we will make our first visit to the Sanctuary. Walking together to the Capelinha, the Chapel of the Apparitions, we place our pilgrimage under Our Lady's protection. This evening you are invited to join pilgrims from around the world in the Candlelight Rosary Procession, a deeply moving experience as thousands pray the Rosary beneath the Portuguese night sky. Overnight in Fatima.

Day 2 - Saturday, 19 September

The Sanctuary of Fatima & The Tombs of the Little Saints After breakfast we gather for morning Mass in the Capelinha, the very place where Our Lady appeared to Lucia, Francisco and Jacinta. The simplicity of this sacred spot continues to draw millions who come seeking peace and renewal. Following Mass, we enjoy a guided orientation of the Sanctuary. We visit the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary, where the tombs of Saints Francisco and Jacinta and Sister Lucia are located. We also see the Monument to the Sacred Heart, the Berlin Wall fragment, the old Holm Oak site and the vast Basilica of the Holy Trinity, a striking modern church built to accommodate the many pilgrims who visit Fatima each year. After lunch at the hotel, the afternoon is free for personal prayer, quiet reflection or time in the Chapel of Adoration. In the evening, following dinner, we return to the Sanctuary to participate once again in the Rosary and Candlelight Procession. Overnight in Fatima.

Day 3 - Sunday, 20 September

Valinhos, The Angel of Peace & The Village of Aljustrel This morning we walk the Hungarian Way of the Cross, a peaceful path through olive and oak trees leading to Valinhos, where Our Lady appeared to the children on 19 August 1917. Along the way we pray the Stations of the Cross, reflecting on Christ's Passion in union with Our Lady's sufferings. We visit Loca do Anjo, where the Angel of Peace appeared to the children in 1916, preparing their hearts for the apparitions of the following year and teaching them prayers of reparation and adoration. We continue to the village of Aljustrel to see the humble homes of the three shepherd children and the well in Lucia's garden, where further heavenly encounters took place. Returning to Fatima for lunch, the remainder of the afternoon is free. After dinner, we once again gather in the Sanctuary for the evening Rosary. Overnight in Fatima.

Day 4 - Monday, 21 September

Santarm - The Eucharistic Miracle After breakfast, we travel by coach to Santarm, one of Portugal's oldest cities and the site of a remarkable Eucharistic Miracle dating back to the 13th century. In the Church of St Stephen, we venerate the miraculous Host that bled and has been preserved for over seven hundred years, a powerful testimony to the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist. We celebrate Mass here and allow time for quiet prayer before returning to Fatima. Lunch will be at the hotel, followed by an afternoon at leisure. You may wish to return to the Grotto area, light a candle for loved ones, or spend time in silent thanksgiving for the graces received. Dinner and participation in the evening Rosary conclude our day. Overnight in Fatima.

Day 5 - Tuesday, 22 September

Balasar - In the Footsteps of Blessed Alexandrina Today we travel to Balasar, a small village forever linked with Blessed Alexandrina Maria da Costa. Confined to her bed for many years, Alexandrina offered her immense suffering for the conversion of sinners and became known for her deep devotion to the Eucharist. We visit her home, now preserved as a place of pilgrimage, and the parish church where she prayed. Time is given for reflection on her life of heroic virtue and total abandonment to God's will. Holy Mass will be celebrated locally before we return to Fatima. After lunch at the hotel, the afternoon is free for prayer and rest. In the evening, after dinner, we gather once more for the Candlelight Procession, entrusting our intentions to Our Lady of Fatima. Overnight in Fatima.

Day 6 - Wednesday, 23 September

A Day of Prayer, Adoration & Reflection This morning we celebrate Mass in the Sanctuary. After breakfast, the day is left open to allow each pilgrim the opportunity to deepen their personal experience of Fatima. Some may choose to revisit the Basilica and pray at the tombs of the little saints, others may spend time in Eucharistic Adoration or walk quietly through the vast esplanade in contemplation. After lunch, there is the opportunity to visit the Museum of Light and Peace, which houses artefacts connected to the apparitions and gifts presented to the Sanctuary, including the bullet that struck Pope Saint John Paul II and is now set in Our Lady's crown. Dinner is served at the hotel, followed by the Rosary in the Basilica or at the Capelinha. Overnight in Fatima.

Day 7 - Thursday, 24 September

Thanksgiving & Farewell to Fatima Our final full day in Fatima begins with morning Mass, offering thanksgiving for the spiritual blessings of this pilgrimage. After breakfast, you will have free time for personal prayer, perhaps making a final visit to the Chapel of the Apparitions or walking once more along the Way of the Cross. Following lunch at the hotel, the afternoon remains free for quiet reflection, journaling, or purchasing religious items to bring home as reminders of your time in this holy place. After our farewell dinner, we gather one last time for the Candlelight Rosary Procession, carrying with us the prayers of family and friends and the memories of these grace-filled days. Overnight in Fatima.

Day 8 - Friday, 25 September

Lumiar & Lisbon After checking out of our hotel, we will drive to the Parish Church of St. John the Baptist in the village of Lumiar where we will hear of the history behind the arrival of the skull of St. Brigid, in Lumiar, and receive a blessing with the precious relic. After time for private prayer, we will drive the short distance to Lisbon and have free time for lunch. As we stroll through the quaint streets of the Portuguese capital, we will stop at the Church of St. Anthony, built on the site where St. Anthony was born in 1195, and dedicated to the saint, known as a matchmaker and patron saint for the recovery of lost items. We will celebrate the closing Mass of our pilgrimage and have time for shopping and personal sightseeing before driving to Lisbon airport for our return flight to Dublin.

*It is our intention to follow the itinerary as outlined above, however due to many factors like local holidays, traffic or weather conditions it may be necessary to make changes to the order of events or even the cancellation of certain events.
