Proposed Pilgrimage Itinerary *
Thursday, April 2nd, 2026 - Arrival in Fatima & Sanctuary Tour
Begin your journey with a morning Aer Lingus flight from Dublin to Lisbon. On arrival in Portugal, you will be
met by your dedicated Marian Pilgrimages guide and travel by private coach to Fatima, where Our Lady
appeared to three shepherd children in 1917. Upon arrival at the Hotel Steyler, check-in and enjoy a warm
welcome lunch. That afternoon, begin your pilgrimage with a guided orientation of the Sanctuary of Our Lady
of Fatima. Visit the Capelinha (Chapel of the Apparitions), built on the very spot of Mary's appearances, and
continue to the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary, where the tombs of Francisco, Jacinta, and Lucia rest
peacefully. Discover other important sites such as the Berlin Wall fragment, the Monument to the Sacred
Heart, and the Basilica of the Holy Trinity. In the evening, join fellow pilgrims in the first Candlelight Rosary
Procession at the Sanctuary, a powerful expression of faith and unity under the stars.
Friday, April 3rd, 2026 - Good Friday: Stations of the Cross, Valinhos, and Aljustrel
On this sacred Good Friday, we begin our morning by walking the Hungarian Way of the Crossa peaceful
path through the olive and oak trees that leads to Valinhos, the site of the August 19th apparition of Our Lady.
Here, stop to reflect at the Calvary monument and then continue to Loca do Anjo, where the Angel of Peace
appeared to the children in 1916 to prepare them for their divine mission. We then journey to Aljustrel, the
home village of the three shepherd children. Visit the simple homes of Francisco, Jacinta, and Lucia, and
pause at the Well in Lucia's garden, where another apparition took place. Return to the hotel for lunch, and
enjoy a quiet afternoon for personal prayer or reflection. Dinner is served in the hotel. In the evening, take
part in the Rosary and the moving Candlelight Procession, walking in spiritual solidarity with millions around
the world who mark this most solemn day of the Church year.
Saturday, April 4th, 2026 - The Sanctuary and Museum of Light and Peace
After breakfast, celebrate Holy Mass in the Capelinha, the very heart of the Sanctuary, and the sacred site of
Our Lady's appearances. Following Mass, we continue with a more in-depth visit to key locations within the
Sanctuary, including time for quiet prayer in the Chapel of Adoration. After lunch at the hotel, we visit the
Museum of Light and Peace, home to remarkable relics and pilgrim offerings, including the bullet that
wounded Pope John Paul II during the 1981 assassination attemptlater placed in Our Lady's crown in
gratitude for his survival. This afternoon is yours to rest, explore, or spend time in personal devotion. Dinner is
followed once more by the candlelight rosary, a beautiful conclusion to a peaceful day.
Sunday, April 5th, 2026 - Divine Mercy Sunday and Personal Reflection
Begin the day by joining the international Rosary and Holy Mass in the Sanctuary on this special Divine Mercy
Sunday. As the Church celebrates the mercy of God and the victory of the Resurrection, Fatima becomes a
place of renewal and peace. Return to the hotel for lunch. This afternoon is free for you to visit the tombs of
the visionaries, pray at the Chapel of Adoration, or spend time in silent contemplation in the gardens of the
Sanctuary. Dinner is served at the hotel, followed once again by the Candlelight Procession, offering time to
reflect on the grace received so far.
Monday, April 6th, 2026 - Santarm Eucharistic Miracle
This morning, enjoy breakfast followed by quiet time in the Sanctuary for personal devotions. In the early
afternoon, we depart for Santarm, one of the oldest cities in Portugal and home to a revered Eucharistic
Miracle. At the Church of St. Stephen, venerate the miraculous Host, which has been preserved for over 750
years and continues to draw pilgrims from around the world. After time for private prayer, return to Fatima in
time for a final group dinner. Our last evening in Fatima concludes with one more Candlelight Rosary
Processiona beautiful farewell to this blessed place.
Tuesday, April 7th, 2026 - Return to Ireland
After an early breakfast, we bid farewell to Fatima and transfer by private coach to Lisbon Airport for our
return Aer Lingus flight home. As you journey back to Ireland, take with you the serenity of the Sanctuary, the
message of peace from Our Lady, and the spiritual richness of a truly unforgettable pilgrimage.
