Proposed Pilgrimage Itinerary *

Day 1 - Good Friday

We will check in at Dublin Airport for our Ryanair flight to Tarbes Airport, Lourdes. Upon arrival in Tarbes, we will proceed to the baggage claim area to collect our luggage. We will then make our way to the arrivals hall, where our guide will be waiting to escort us to our coach for the transfer to Lourdes. On arrival in Lourdes, we will check in at the Hotel Astrid. After settling into our rooms, we will gather with our group and guide. As it is Good Friday, we will walk the Way of the Cross, allowing us, as Christians, to pause and prayerfully reflect on the final moments of Jesus' journey of love. There will be time to relax in our rooms before dinner at 7:00pm. Following dinner, our evening will conclude with a time of prayer and reflection on the Passion of Our Lord.

Day 2 - Holy Saturday

This morning, after breakfast, we will depart from our hotel with our guide for a walking tour in the footsteps of St. Bernadette. We will begin at the cemetery where her parents are buried, and then journey back through time as we visit the Boly Mill, her birthplace, and the �Cachot,� the former prison where she and her family lived during a time of great hardship. As we walk through these places, we hope to gain a deeper understanding of how the apparitions touched not only Bernadette herself, but also her family and the small village of Lourdes. In the afternoon, we will gather for a Holy Hour. During this sacred time of prayer and quiet reflection, there will be an opportunity to receive the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick. We will return to our hotel for dinner at 7:00pm. Later that evening, we will depart as a group to attend the Easter Vigil at 9:00pm, a beautiful and solemn celebration of the Resurrection.

Day 3 Easter Sunday.

Today we begin at the most sacred site of the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes � the Grotto where Our Lady first appeared to Saint Bernadette in 1858. We will attend Easter Sunday Mass at the Sanctuary. Following Mass, you will have the opportunity to spend time in and around the Grotto, placing your hands on the Grotto walls where the original spring is still visible. There is also an intentions box located within the Grotto area where we may leave our prayer intentions. The remainder of the afternoon will be at leisure. Dinner will be served in the hotel at 7:00 pm. After dinner, we will take a short walk to the Sanctuary to participate in the candlelight procession and pray the Rosary together.

Day 4 - Depart Lourdes

After breakfast in the hotel, we will depart by our luxury coach to Tarbes airport for your return flight home.
