Proposed Pilgrimage Itinerary *
Day 1 - Tuesday, 20 October 2026 - Depart Dublin
Your pilgrimage begins this morning as you check in at Dublin Airport for your flight to Mexico City via Amsterdam.
Allow this journey to be a time of spiritual anticipation�perhaps through quiet prayer, reading, or simply contemplating the days ahead, filled with grace and profound encounter.
Day 2 - Wednesday, 21 October 2026 - Arrive in Mexico City
Upon arrival in Mexico City, you'll be warmly welcomed by your local guide and transferred by private coach to your
hotel. Check in to Hotel Casa Blanca, ideally located in the cultural and political heart of the capital. Settle into your
room before coming together for a welcome dinner. Overnight in Mexico City.
Day 3 - Thursday, 22 October 2026 - Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe
Today begins your spiritual journey in earnest. After breakfast, visit the Plaza of Three Cultures in Tlatelolco�a striking symbol of the layers of Mexican history where pre-Hispanic ruins, colonial churches, and modern developments
converge. Continue to the Church of St. James, where St. Juan Diego first revealed the miraculous image of Our Lady
to Bishop Zum�rraga.
Next, you will arrive at the heart of your pilgrimage: the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Here, you'll visit both the
Old and New Basilicas, the Chapel of Pocitos, and climb Tepeyac Hill, where the Virgin Mary appeared to St. Juan Diego in 1531. Celebrate Mass near the sacred image and take time to kneel before the tilma that has drawn millions.
Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 4 - Friday, 23 October 2026 - Mexico City: Z�calo & Paseo de la Reforma
After breakfast, set out to explore Mexico City's historic centre, beginning at the Z�calo, the vast main square
framed by colonial and religious architecture. Visit the National Palace, adorned with Diego Rivera's evocative murals, and celebrate Mass in one of the city's historic churches.
A scenic drive along the grand boulevard of Paseo de la Reforma offers views of the Angel of Independence and
other significant monuments that mark the city's transformation over the centuries. Return to your hotel for dinner.
The evening is yours for reflection or perhaps a peaceful stroll through the heart of Mexico's capital.
Day 5 - Saturday, 24 October 2026 - Teotihuacan
Today, we step outside the modern city into the timeless mystery of Teotihuacan, an ancient Mesoamerican city and
spiritual centre. Walk along the Avenue of the Dead, stand in awe before the Pyramids of the Sun and Moon, and let
the scale and serenity of the site awaken a sense of wonder.
Afterwards, enjoy lunch on your own at a nearby caf�, with time to relax and reflect. In the afternoon, we return to
Mexico City to freshen up before joining together once again for dinner at the hotel.
Day 6 - Sunday, 25 October 2026 - Xochimilco, Blessed Miguel Pro & Coyoac�n
Begin the day with Mass at the Church of the Holy Family, where the relics of Blessed Miguel Pro, Jesuit priest and
martyr of the Cristero War, are venerated. His courageous witness remains a powerful testament to faith in adversity.
From here, we head to the colourful waters of Xochimilco, where a peaceful ride through the flower-laced canals
aboard traditional boats offers a refreshing pause. Continue to Coyoac�n, one of the city's most charming neighbourhoods, known for its colonial homes and lively atmosphere. Enjoy time to explore and lunch at your leisure before returning to the hotel for dinner and rest.
Day 7 - Monday, 26 October 2026 - Cholula & Puebla
After breakfast, we say farewell to Mexico City and journey toward Puebla. En route, we visit Cholula, a town that
blends pre-Columbian grandeur and Catholic tradition. Here stands the Church of Santa Mar�a Tonantzintla, famed
for its vibrant indigenous baroque artistry. We also ascend the hill above the hidden Great Pyramid of Cholula, the largest pyramid by volume in the world.
From its summit, enjoy sweeping views across Puebla's fertile valleys.
In the afternoon, we arrive in Puebla, check in to our hotel, and enjoy dinner together. Overnight in Puebla.
Day 8 - Tuesday, 27 October 2026 - Puebla, Tlaxcala & San Miguel del Milagro
Our final full day begins with a guided walking tour through the historic heart of Puebla, where churches and plazas
speak of deep devotion and artistic splendour. Visit the magnificent Cathedral, the Dominican Cloister, and the Rosary Chapel, often hailed as the �Eighth Wonder of the World.�
From here, we continue to Tlaxcala, where we celebrate Mass at San Miguel del Milagro, the site of the 1631 apparition of St. Michael the Archangel, who revealed a miraculous healing spring. Later, we visit the Basilica of Our Lady of
Ocotl�n, a site blessed by a 16th-century apparition of the Virgin Mary who left her image miraculously imprinted in
a tree. Return to Puebla for dinner and overnight.
Day 9 - Wednesday, 28 October 2026 - Return to Dublin
After breakfast, we check out and travel to Mexico City International Airport for our return flight home to Dublin via
Amsterdam. As you board the aircraft, carry with you the joy and blessing of having walked where heaven touched
the earth�at Guadalupe, Tepeyac, Tlaxcala, and beyond.
*It is our intention to follow the itinerary as outlined above, however due to many factors like local holidays, traffic or weather conditions it may be necessary to make changes to the order of events or even the cancelation of certain events.
