Proposed Pilgrimage Itinerary *
Monday, September 15th - Dublin to Lisbon - Onward to Fatima
Your pilgrimage begins as the group gathers at Dublin Airport for your TAP Portugal flight to Lisbon. Upon
arrival, meet your Marian Pilgrimages guide and board your private coach northward to Fatima. After
checking into your hotel, there will be time to settle in and enjoy dinner with your fellow pilgrims.
This evening, you are invited to the Sanctuary for the Candlelight Rosary Procession, an unforgettable sight as
pilgrims from around the world walk together in silent prayer under the stars.
Tuesday, September 16th - Sanctuary of Fatima
Begin your day with Holy Mass in the Capelinha, the humble Chapel of the Apparitions, built on the very site
where Our Lady appeared in 1917. Afterwards, your guide will lead you through an orientation tour of the
Sanctuary area. Visit the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary, where Saints Francisco and Jacinta Marto rest
beside Sister Lucia, and walk across to the striking modern Basilica of the Holy Trinity, completed in 2007 to
accommodate pilgrims from around the world.
You'll also see the Monument to the Sacred Heart, the Old Holm Oak, and a remaining section of the Berlin
Wallsymbols of peace, prayer, and perseverance. The afternoon is free for lunch at one of the cafs
surrounding the Sanctuary and for personal prayer or reflection.
Dinner is served at your hotel, followed by an optional return to the Sanctuary for the evening Rosary and
Procession.
Wednesday, September 17th - The Shepherds' Story: Valinhos & Aljustrel
After breakfast, join the Hungarian Way of the Cross, a beautiful path lined with Stations set among olive and
oak trees, leading to Valinhos, the site of Our Lady's appearance in August 1917. Nearby is Loca do Anjo,
where the Angel of Peace appeared to the children in 1916, preparing them for the apparitions that would
follow.
Continue to the tiny hamlet of Aljustrel, where the shepherd children lived. Visit their preserved family homes
and the garden well where one of the apparitions took place. These humble settings give deep insight into
the simplicity and sanctity of their lives.
Enjoy your afternoon at leisure in Fatima. Some may choose to revisit the Sanctuary, take time in the Chapel
of Adoration, or browse religious shops near the square. Dinner is served at the hotel, and as night falls, we
once again gather at the Sanctuary for the Candlelight Rosary Procession.
Thursday, September 18th - Eucharistic Miracle of Santarm
This morning begins with Mass in the Sanctuary or at a private chapel, depending on availability. After
breakfast, enjoy a relaxing morning in Fatima, with time for your own devotions or perhaps to revisit the
tombs of the visionaries.
In the early afternoon, board the coach for a special pilgrimage to the ancient town of Santarm, one of the
oldest cities in Portugal and home to a Eucharistic Miracle that occurred in the 13th century. At the Church of
St. Stephen, you'll learn the story of the miraculous Host and have time for quiet prayer before returning to
Fatima.
Tonight, enjoy your final dinner in Fatima. Many will wish to return for one last evening procession, giving
thanks for all the graces received during these blessed days.
Friday, September 19th - Return to Dublin
After breakfast and check-out, board your coach for the return transfer to Lisbon Airport for your return flight home. Carry with you the message of Fatimahope, conversion, and peaceand may
your journey bring spiritual renewal to you and to those you hold in prayer.
