Pilgrimage Itinerary
Day 1 - 10 September - Arrive Lisbon /
Check-in at Dublin airport for Aer Lingus flight EI486 to Lisbon. Transfer by coach to Hotel in Fatima, where we stay for 7 nights on full board. ~~
Day 2 - 11 September /
Visit to the homes of the children in Aljustrel, Valinhos where Our Lady appeared on 19th Aug. 1917 and Loca d'Ango where the angel appeared to the children in 1916. On our return we visit the Parish Church of Fatima. Lunch in Hotel. Mass celebrated in the Capelinha (apparition site) in the afternoon followed by introductory walk around the Cova da Iria, including the Rosary Basilica, Tombs of Francisco, Jacinta and Sr. Lucia, Chapel of Apparitions, Adoration Chapel, Sacred Heart Monument and fountains, Berlin Wall and Basilica of the Holy Trinity. Dinner. Evening rosary and candlelight procession. ~~
Day 3 -12 September /
Morning Mass and optional visit to the Museum. Lunch. Free time in the afternoon. Dinner followed by Rosary and Candlelight Procession. As this will be 12th September International Mass is celebrated from Recinto Altar (outdoor on steps of Rosary Basilica) after the evening Rosary. ~~
Day 4 -13 September/
This morning there will be Rosary at 9.30hrs in Capelinha. At 10.00hrs International Mass in Sanctuary (from outdoor Altar) followed by Farewell Procession of Our Lady (waving of white handkerchief as statue of Our Lady is brought back to Capelinha) . Lunch. Afternoon free. Evening Mass in the Hotel Chapel. Dinner. Rosary followed by Procession of the Blessed Sacrament. ~~
Day 5 - 14 September /
Morning walk the Hungarian Stations of the Cross. Lunch in Hotel. Optional afternoon visit to the Coastal Town of Nazare where you will see the Statue of Our Lady of Nazare that legend says came from Nazareth in the early days of Christianity. Return to Fatima for Dinner followed by Rosary and Candlelight Procession.

Day 6 - 15 September /
Optional visit to Santarem for Holy Mass and veneration of the Eucharistic Miracle in the Church of St. Stephen. Some free time and return to Fatima for lunch. Free Afternoon in Fatima. Dinner. Rosary and Candlelight Procession. ~~
Day 7 - 16 September /
10.30hrs Rosary in Capelinha followed by International Mass at 11.00hrs from Recinto Altar and Farewell Procession. Lunch. Free afternoon with option to take part in Procession of the Blessed Sacrament. Dinner. Rosary and Candlelight Procession. ~~
Day 8 - 17 September /
Morning Mass in Fatima. Lunch. Depart for Lisbon airport for return Aer Lingus flight to Dublin. ~~
*It is our intention to follow the itinerary as outlined above, however due to many factors like local holidays, traffic or weather conditions it may be necessary to make changes to the order of events or even the cancelation of certain events.
