Sample of a 5 Day itinerary to Lourdes
Day 1 - Arrive Lourdes
Check in at your airport, where our local
representative will be on hand to assist you.
Upon arrival you will be met by our local guide
and transferred to your accommodation. Check
into your hotel for 5 nights on a full board basis.
Day 2 - Walking tour of Lourdes
Morning Mass. After
lunch take a walking
tour of the town of
Lourdes. We will
visit the Boly Mill,
where Bernadette
was born and see
the Cachot, an abandoned
prison where Bernadette’s family lived. See
the hospice, where she made her First Holy
Communion. After the apparitions, Bernadette
lived in the hospice until she went to Nevers,
to join the Sisters of Charity of Nevers. We will
visit the Parish church and see Bernadette’s
original baptismal font. In the cemetery we will
see the grave of her family.
Day 3 - Stations of the Cross
After Mass we take part in the Stations of the
Cross. This afternoon, immerse yourself in the
baths where hundreds of miraculous healings
have taken place. Participate in the blessing of
the sick. After dinner take part in the evening
torchlight procession.
Day 4 - Optional Tours
This morning will be free in Lourdes. You are
free to relax or visit some of the sites yourself.
After lunch there will be an optional tour to
Bartres, to celebrate Mass and venerate the relic
of St. Bernadette.
Day 5 - Basilica of the Rosary
Take some free time after breakfast to explore
Lourdes ourselves. Visit the Basilica of the
Rosary or the Basilica of the Immaculate
